Under the overall project management of Professor Sabina Misoch, Head of the Interdisciplinary Competence Centre for Ageing (IKOA) at the FHS St.Gallen, there are four heads of decentralised clusters, who are responsible for the projects and activities within the focus areas of AGE-NT. Together with the Managing Director, they form the Project Committee.
The Project Committee deals with the strategic decisions involved in the implementation of the project, and establishes both how the project will be managed and monitored. It meets four times a year.
The Steering Committee, which meets once a year, comprises representatives of all structurally involved partners, as well as the cluster heads. It is responsible for determining the strategic direction and strategic targets, and it appoints the Executive Board, the auditors and the Scientific Advisory Board.
The project office is located at the FHS St.Gallen, and it is responsible for the operative implementation of the targets set and the resolutions adopted by the Steering Committee and the Project Committee. In addition, its primary tasks include budget control, reporting and external communication.
AGE-NT’s four focus areas have been allocated to four competence clusters. These clusters are based at various universities of applied sciences and universities within a decentralised organisational structure. Each of the competence clusters has its own budget, and each is obligated to provide information to the project coordination and to coordinate with it.
